Injuries reported in crash at Western Ave and I-240 in SW OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Emergency teams responded to an injury accident at a busy intersection in southwest Oklahoma City on Tuesday, reports TTN Oklahoma City.

The incident happened sometime before 5 p.m. on Western Avenue at I-240, which is north of Lightning Creek Park and southeast of Jefferson Middle School.
Police haven’t yet disclosed any details about the accident except to say that at least one person sustained injuries. It’s not yet clear what caused the collision or how many vehicles were involved.
Motorists likely experienced rush hour delays in the area of the crash while crews worked to attend to the victims and clear the scene.
