Injury crash reported at Western Ave and John Kilpatrick Tpk

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Authorities released word of a crash with injuries Thursday evening in northwest Oklahoma City, reports TTN Oklahoma City.

The incident occurred sometime before 6:50 p.m. on North Western Avenue at West John Kilpatrick Turnpike. This is between Costco and Walmart Supercenter.
There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the accident or the number of people injured. Additionally, officials haven’t shared how many vehicles were involved.
Motorists likely experienced slow-downs along Western Avenue near the turnpike while crews worked to clear the scene.
