Major accident on Streetman Road in Mead kills man and woman

MEAD, OK – A 35-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman died early Saturday in a motor vehicle collision on the west side of the city of Mead, reports News 9.

The accident happened around 3:30 a.m. on Streetman Road, which runs north to south from Highway 70 East in Mead to the Lakeside Recreation Area just north of Platter.

Police haven’t yet released any details regarding the cause of the crash or the number of vehicles involved. They say that two unrestrained people died at the scene of the accident.

Authorities identified the victims as Casey McCullough and Kerrissa Stopp.
