Man, 51, hospitalized following truck collision in SE OKC

SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A 51-year-old man had to go to the hospital after a truck collision in Southeast Oklahoma City on Tuesday, News 9 reports.
A semi-truck and a garbage truck collided on the South Bryant Avenue overpass, above Interstate 240. The impact of that collision caused the 51-year-old man to be pinned inside his garbage truck.
Fire crews were successfully able to extricate the male driver before EMS crews rushed him to the emergency room for treatment.
Officials did not specify the extent of injuries suffered by the driver, but said he was listed in serious condition at the time of the report.
