Man dies after ATV strikes deer, overturns on 192nd St near Calumet

CANADIAN COUNTY, OK — A 51-year-old man died Tuesday night after an all-terrain vehicle he was driving hit a deer on 192nd Street Northwest near Calumet, reports KOCO.
The fatal accident happened on the eastbound side of the road near North Maple Road at about 9:30 p.m.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the man was driving eastbound when the ATV collided with a deer in the roadway, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. Shortly after, the ATV overturned and landed on its passenger side.
The man died from his injuries at the scene, confirmed authorities.
