Man killed in 2-vehicle crash on OK-412B in Pryor

PRYOR, OK – A 32-year-old motorcyclist died on Monday night after his bike collided with another vehicle in west Mayes County.
The incident happened around 7 p.m. on OK-412B near 2nd Street MAIP, which is just southwest of National Gypsum.
The cause of the accident is unclear. Police say that a 2007 Honda motorcycle collided with a 2021 Chevy Trax and that the motorcyclist died at the scene.
Authorities have identified the victim as Jake Newell from Pryor.
The driver of the Chevy did not sustain injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
