Motorcyclist dies after crash on OK-48A in Johnston County

JOHNSTON COUNTY, OK — A 32-year-old driver was fatally injured Thursday evening in a two-motorcycle crash on State Highway 48A near Milburn, reports KFOR.
The fatal accident occurred about one mile north of the city, shortly before 7:00 p.m. Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers and emergency crews responded to the scene.
It was unclear what caused the accident, but the OHP said a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle and a 2002 Harley Davison motorcycle were involved.
The operator of the 2002 bike, Mesha Romero, suffered serious injuries to the head, trunk, and at least one leg. The victim was rushed to a local hospital where they were later pronounced deceased.
No injuries to the operator of the 2005 bike were reported.
Authorities have not provided further information at this time.
