Motorcyclist killed in crash involving DUI suspect near Medicine Park

COMANCHE COUNTY, OK — A 62-year-old man died Tuesday afternoon after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on Oklahoma Highway 58 near Medicine Park, reports KFOR.

First responders were called to the scene on the southbound lanes at about 3:54 p.m.

An initial investigation by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol found the man was operating a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound when a 2007 Ford F-350 pickup truck made a left turn in his path, causing a crash.

The rider died from his injuries at the scene, confirmed officials.

OHP troopers noted in the accident report that the driver of the pickup was found to have been intoxicated at the time of the fatal wreck.
