Motorcyclist killed in crash with stray cow near Calera

BRYAN CO., OK – Authorities have reported to a fatality in connection to a motorcycle crash that happened Monday in west-central Bryan County, reports KXII 12.
The accident occurred on the northbound side of Kirsey Road, or N3682 Road, on the northwestern outskirts of Calera, which is about 150 miles southeast of Oklahoma City.
Police say that 58-year-old Michael Shane Sexton lost control of his motorcycle after colliding with a cow in the roadway.
The biker succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident.
There were no additional passengers on the bike at the time of the collision.
Officials haven’t indicated if the cow belonged to a resident in the area, or if the animal sustained injuries.
