Multi-vehicle collision on Hwy 51 in Coweta kills 1, hurts 2

COWETA, OK – One person died and two others were hospitalized Thursday after an accident involving five vehicles along the highway in Coweta.
According to News on 6, the incident happened just after 1 p.m. along Highway 51 on the outskirts of Coweta almost to Broken Arrow.
Police have not yet shared any details about the accident except to say that it blocked the highway for hours while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
A male driver died in the accident, and medics transported two other drivers to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
