Multi-vehicle crash on Hwy 177 near Rossville hurts 3, kills 1

LINCOLN CO., OK – A 19-year-old man died late Tuesday morning after at least three vehicles collided along a highway in southwest Lincoln County.

According KFOR News 4,  the incident happened around 11 a.m. near the intersection of US-177 and 980 Road, which is just northwest of J&J Steel.

The circumstances of the accident are still unclear. Photos taken at the scene show both a red sedan and a silver sedan with significant damage. The collision also involved a black SUV with front-end damage.

Authorities identified the victim in the accident as Robert Jarvis Jr. from Wellston.

Two people received medical treatment at the scene, and one other person went to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
