TULSA, OK – A woman went to the hospital after a multi-vehicle hit-and-run collision at a busy intersection in east Tulsa on Monday morning, reports Fox 23.

The incident happened around 8:30 a.m. near East 31st Street and South 129th East Avenue, which is in the Tamarac area.

Police say that a driver struck three vehicles after failing to stop at a red light. The driver then fled the scene of the accident and left an injured passenger from his vehicle at an I-HOP restaurant. She went to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

Drivers likely experienced delays near the crash site while police carried out an initial investigation and crews worked to clear the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
