Multi-vehicle wreck creates backup on I-35 SB in NE Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — Five vehicles were involved in a crash Monday morning on Interstate 35 in northeast Oklahoma City, according to KOCO.
The accident impacted the southbound lanes at Exit 134 to East Wilshire Boulevard.
Little information has been released, but the Oklahoma Highway Patrol indicated a number of the people involved suffered minor injuries.
In the immediate aftermath of the wreck, southbound traffic became backed up and moving slowly for miles.
At this time, it remains unclear what caused the accident or exactly how many people were injured. No charges have been reported.
