Pedestrian hospitalized after getting hit by vehicle in Norman

NORMAN, OK – A pedestrian was hospitalized after getting hit by a vehicle outside the University of Oklahoma in Norman on Thursday.
Norman Police told News9 that they were dispatched to the intersection of 12th Avenue Southeast and East Lindsey Street, and arrived around 6 a.m.
At least two police cars and one ambulance pulled up to the scene of the pedestrian-vehicle crash.
EMS crews transported the pedestrian to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Police did not say if they cited the driver or if they arrested them.
The cause of the pedestrian-vehicle crash is under investigation.
