Pedestrian killed by hit-and-run driver on I-40 in west Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — One person died early Tuesday morning after being struck by a vehicle on Interstate 40 in west Oklahoma City, reports KOCO.
The fatal incident occurred in the eastbound lanes between Morgan Road and Council Road, at about 12:20 a.m.
Few details have been made available, but the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the OHP continue to search for the driver, who fled the scene without stopping.
