Pedestrian killed by hit-and-run driver on SW 30th St in SW Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — One person died Wednesday evening after being hit by a vehicle in the Heronville neighborhood of southwest Oklahoma City, reports KOCO.

The incident took place in the area of Southwest 30th Street and South Kentucky Avenue at about 6:00 p.m.

Little information has been released, but Oklahoma City Police said a pedestrian was struck and fatally injured by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene without stopping. The victim died from their injuries at the site.

At this time, authorities have not been able to provide a description of the suspect or the fleeing vehicle. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed.
