Pickup collides with trash truck in Okmulgee Co., killing 1

OKMULGEE, OK – One person died Tuesday after a collision involving a pickup truck and a trash truck near Okmulgee, reports Fox 23 News.

The incident happened in the afternoon along US-75 between Preston and Okmulgee.

It’s not yet clear what may have caused the Henryetta trash truck and pickup truck to collide.

The driver of the pickup truck died at the scene of the accident. Officials have not yet released the name of the victim.

No other injuries have been reported at this time.

A full investigation is underway.
