Police investigate train vs. car crash near Broadway and 15th

EDMOND, OK – Police closed a major roadway in Edmond on Friday afternoon after a train and vehicle collided just west of Edmond Memorial High School.

According to KFOR News, the crash happened around 12:30 p.m. at the railroad crossing near the intersection of South Broadway and East 15th Street, which is just south of Westbrook Shopping Center.

Police have not shared many details about how the accident occurred, but they say no injuries have been reported at this time.

Officials encouraged drivers to avoid the area due to road closures at near the railroad crossing at East 15th Street.
