Single-vehicle crash kills 18-year-old on Tpk in Yukon

YUKON, OK – An 18-year-old man died Monday after losing control of his vehicle and crashing along the highway in Yukon, reports KFOR News.

The incident happened along the ramp from the northbound side of the John Kilpatrick Turnpike to I-40 eastbound, which is just northwest of Westbury.

Police aren’t sure what caused the accident, but they say the driver left the roadway and collided with a bridge support.

The victim, identified as Peyton Sims, died after transport to a local hospital.

A full investigation is underway.
