Single-vehicle crash on I-44 at 165th East Ave in Tulsa kills 1

TULSA, OK – One person died Thursday afternoon following a solo crash along the interstate on the far-east side of Tulsa, reports KJRH 2 News.

The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. in the area of I-44 and 165th East Avenue, which is just south of Tulsa Stockyards.

Police haven’t yet disclosed what caused the vehicle to crash, nor have they identified the person that died. Furthermore, it’s unknown if the accident caused any additional injuries.

Officials warned motorists of increased traffic in the area of the crash while crews worked at the scene.
