Single-vehicle rollover kills 1 on I-40EB near Calumet

CANADIAN CO., OK – A man died early Friday morning after his vehicle crashed along the interstate in western Canadian County, reports KOCO 5 News.
The incident occurred around 12:10 a.m. on the eastbound side of I-40 near mile marker 106, which is in between Bridgeport and Calumet.
The investigation thus far indicates that a 2008 Toyota Scion veered off of the interstate and rolled multiple times.
Crews worked to extricate the driver, identified as 59-year-old Michael Sterbach, but he died at the scene of the accident.
An investigation is underway.
