Solo crash involving teen driver on OK-11 near Skiatook kills 1

OSAGE CO., OK – A woman died last Saturday from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle accident along the highway in eastern Osage County, reports Fox 23 News.

The accident happened on OK-11 just north of Skiatook and about 25 miles north of Tulsa.

Police say the victim was thrown from the vehicle in which she was a passenger when a teen driver lost control and crashed. The vehicle overturned, and the passenger died at the scene. Authorities identified her as Nancy Williams of Barnsdall.

The teen driver did not sustain injuries in the accident.

A full investigation is underway to determine the cause of the wreck.
