Solo crash on NW 178th and N Rockwell kills two teens, injures two others

EDMOND, OK – A single-vehicle crash at an intersection on the west side of Edmond killed two teens and injured two others on Sunday, reports News 9.
The accident happened at night at the intersection of Northwest 178th Street and North Rockwell Avenue, which is southwest of Deer Creek High School and north of Gaillardia Golf Club.
Police say that for unknown reasons, a vehicle carrying four people left the roadway and crashed, killing the 18-year-old driver and a 16-year-old passenger. Authorities identified the driver as Weston Jarvis.
Medics transported two other passengers to the hospital, one of whom sustained critical injuries.
A full investigation is underway to determine what might have caused Jarvis to lose control of the vehicle.
