Solo crash on US-412 EB in Sandy Springs kills Tulsa man

SAND SPRINGS, OK – A Tulsa man died Wednesday night after a single-vehicle collision along the highway in west-central Tulsa County, reports News on 6.

The incident happened at 10:53 p.m. on the eastbound side of US-412 near 218th West Avenue, which is on the western side of Sand Springs.

Police aren’t yet sure what caused the crash, but they say the victim was not wearing a seatbelt. Crews worked to extricate the man, but he died from his injuries at the scene.

Authorities identified the victim as 18-year-old Willard Newman.
