Solo crash on US-412 WB injures 20-year-old driver and passenger

TULSA, OK – Two women in their 20s went to the hospital Sunday morning when their vehicle crashed along the highway in Tulsa County, reports KTUL News 8.
The accident happened around 6 a.m. on the westbound side of US-412. Police have not yet shared additional details regarding the location of the crash.
They say that the driver of a speeding 2014 Chevrolet Impala lost control of the vehicle, causing it to hit a cable barrier and roll several times. The force of the crash threw the driver from the vehicle.
Medics transported the driver, identified as 20-year-old Shaylea Leclair, and a 20-year-old passenger, identified as Maribella Tello’faz, to the hospital. Leclair sustained critical injuries.
Police suspect that speed was the primary cause of the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
