Solo crash with ejection on I-35 near MM 40 in Springer injures 2

SPRINGER, OK – Two people were hurt Thursday after a single-vehicle collision along the interstate in northeast Carter County, reports kxii 12.

The accident happened around 5:15 p.m. on I-35 near mile marker 4o in the city of Springer. This is about 87 miles south of Oklahoma City.

Police say a driver lost control of their vehicle for unknown reasons, left the roadway, and crashed. The force of the collision threw one person from the vehicle.

Medics transported two people to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
