Solo motorcycle crash on OK-124 near Henryetta kills 1

OKFUSKEE CO., OK – A motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries Tuesday in a single-vehicle collision along the highway in northeast Okfuskee County, reports News 9.
The accident happened around 7:30 p.m. on OK-124 south of Henryetta and about an hour south of Tulsa.
Police say that for unknown reasons, 62-year-old Todd Shurden lost control of his motorcycle and hit a fence after leaving the highway. The impact of the crash ejected Shurden from his bike.
Authorities pronounced the motorcyclist deceased at the scene of the wreck. It’s unclear if he was wearing a safety helmet when the accident happened.
Motorists likely faced delays along OK-124 in the area of the crash while emergency teams worked at the scene.
