Teen driver injured in rollover wreck on E County Rd 45 near Woodward

WOODWARD COUNTY, OK — A 19-year-old driver was hospitalized Thursday morning after a crash on East County Road 45 near south Woodward, reports News9.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the accident occurred at the intersection with North 2010 Road at about 9:10 a.m.
According to troopers, the teen was driving on North 2010 Road at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his car while crossing the intersection. Moments later, the vehicle veered off the left side of the roadway, slammed through a fence, hit a pole, and flipped over five times.
Authorities said the teen driver was pinned and trapped in the car for about 30 minutes before he was extricated by members of the Woodward Fire Department. The patient was then airlifted to an Oklahoma City hospital in stable condition.
