TULSA, OK – One person died, and two others sustained serious injuries Sunday after two motorcycles collided on a busy roadway in Tulsa.
KRMG reports that the incident happened around 7 p.m. just west of the 23rd Street Bridge, which is just southwest of the River West Festival Park.
The investigation thus far indicates that a westbound motorcycle veered into the eastbound lane of traffic and collided head on with another motorcycle.
The westbound motorcyclist died at the scene of the accident. The driver and passenger of the eastbound motorcyclist went to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police suspect that speed may have been a factor in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
