Two-car crash on I-40EB at Hudiburg Dr injures 1, delays traffic

MIDWEST CITY, OK – One person was hospitalized Thursday night after a suspected DUI crash along the interstate in Midwest City, reports KOCO News 5.
The incident happened around 8:10 p.m. on the eastbound side of I-40 at Hudiburg Drive, which is just south of Rose State College.
Police have not shared many details regarding the circumstances of the accident. They say that one person sustained minor injuries and that a driver was taken into custody on charges of driving under the influence.
Officials closed lanes of I-40 eastbound in the vicinity of the crash for around an hour while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
