Two-vehicle collision at Council and Memorial in NW OKC injures 4

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A two-vehicle crash at a busy intersection in northwest Oklahoma City injured four people late Wednesday morning, reports KFOR News 4.

The incident happened sometime before noon at the intersection of North Council Road and West Memorial Road, which is just northwest of Canyon Lakes Park.

Police haven’t shared any details about the accident except to say that four people were hospitalized with injuries of unknown severity. Photos taken at the scene indicate that a silver jeep or SUV may have been involved as well as a dark-colored sedan.

Officials encouraged drivers to expect delays in the area while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
