TULSA, OK – A two-vehicle crash along the interstate in east Tulsa killed a 19-year-old man on Friday, reports Fox 23 News.

Emergency teams responded just after midnight to one of the ramps from I-244 to US-169 on the east side of the city. It’s unclear if the crash occurred on the northbound ramp or the southbound ramp.

Police say Cristopher Barillas was speeding and possible driving under the influence when he lost control of his vehicle and collided with a second car.

Barillas died after transport to a local hospital.

The other driver and the two passengers from Barillas’ vehicle were unhurt in the accident.

A full investigation is underway.
