Two-vehicle crash on OK-9A south of Maud kills 1, injures 1

SEMINOLE CO., OK – A 39-year-old man died last Thursday from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash along the highway just south of Maud, reports The Ada News.
The collision happened in the afternoon on OK-9A, or N South 351, just south of Maud in west-central Seminole County.
The investigation indicates that the victim’s northbound 2013 Hyundai entered the southbound lane of OK-9A and crashed into a 2013 Ford F150.
The driver of the Hyundai, identified as Jody Daniel, died at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the Ford, identified as 39-year-old Lisa Johnson, went to the hospital with head and trunk injuries.
Police say that speed was likely a primary cause of the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
