Vehicle strikes, fatally injures pedestrian at NW 31st and Cache

LAWTON, OK – A male pedestrian died last month from injuries sustained in an accident at a busy intersection in northwest Lawton, reports KSWO 7.

The incident occurred on Thursday, December 5, at Northwest 31st Street and Northwest Cache Road, which is just southwest of Stephens Park.

Police say that a vehicle struck pedestrian David Jimenez in the intersection. Jimenez died six days later from unknown injuries.

Authorities haven’t specified whether the driver involved in the crash stopped to render aid and speak with police.
