Vehicle strikes, kills cyclist on Choctaw Rd near NE 10th

CHOCTAW, OK – A bicyclist died on Thursday morning after a vehicle struck them along a busy roadway in Choctaw, reports KTUL News 8.

The incident happened around 8:15 a.m. just south of US-62 on Choctaw Road, which is east of Choctaw Creek Park and west of Bouse Sports and Recreation.

Police have not yet shared any details about the victim or the vehicle involved in the collision.

Officials closed Choctaw Road in the vicinity of the accident while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
