Vehicle strikes, kills pedestrian near Seaboard Foods in central Texas County

GUYMON, OK – Over the summer, Guymon Police responded to a fatal crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on the northeast side of the city.

According to News Channel 10, the accident happened after midnight on July 12th, in the area of 2700 Cactus Drive. This is north of US-64 and near the Seaboard Foods Processing Plant.

Police say that a vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian. They’ve not shared any other details regarding the circumstances of the incident, nor have they named the victim, who they say was an adult male.

It’s unclear if the driver involved in the crash stopped to render aid and speak with police.

The investigation is ongoing.
