Vehicle strikes, kills pedestrian on I-240 at Pennsylvania Ave

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A woman died Tuesday morning in Oklahoma City after a vehicle struck her along the interstate near the Southern Hills Shopping Center.
According to KFOR News 4, the collision occurred around 7 a.m. on the eastbound side of I-240 at Pennsylvania Avenue, which is just southeast of the Hidden Trails Golf and Country Club.
The investigation thus far indicates that the pedestrian was walking in the roadway when the vehicle struck her. Police have not yet shared her identity with the public.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to speak with authorities.
