MUSKOGEE CO., OK – A vehicle struck and killed a 47-year-old man along the highway in southeast Muskogee County on Tuesday morning, reports Fox 23 News.
The accident happened shortly before 7 a.m. on OK-351. While officials haven’t provided a cross street for the crash, they say it occurred near Webbers Falls, which is about 74 miles southeast of Tulsa.
A preliminary investigation indicates that a pickup truck carrying at least two people hit a man that was walking in the outside lane of travel.
The pedestrian, identified as Timothy Glass of Warner, died at the scene of the wreck.
Medics transported a passenger from the pickup truck to an area hospital with non-critical injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
