Woman critically hurt after running into path of pickup on S Garnett Rd

TULSA, OK – A pedestrian sustained critical injuries on Saturday evening after she ran into the path of a pickup truck on a busy Tulsa roadway.
According to KTUL News 8, the incident happened around 5:52 p.m. near the intersection of South Garnett Road and East 39th Street, which is just southeast of MTsc United North Complex.
Police say that witnesses at the scene saw the woman run into the roadway and in front of the pickup truck. The woman’s identity has not yet been released.
The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. He does not face charges at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
