Woman struck, killed by motorcycle on I-35 SB near SE 66th St

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A woman died, and a man sustained injuries Sunday in a crash involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian in southeast Oklahoma City.
According to OKC Fox 25, emergency teams were called to the southbound side of I-35 past Southeast 66th Street around 1:45 a.m. This is in the Valley Brook area, east of McCracken Park.
There’s no word yet regarding the cause or circumstances of the accident. Police say that a southbound 2019 Yamaha motorcycle was involved.
The pedestrian, identified as 30-year-old Theresa Lennon, succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash.
Medics transported the 31-year-old motorcyclist to an area hospital with non-critical injuries.
Drivers likely faced delays on the interstate near Valley Brook while crews worked to clear the scene.
