Wrong-way crash at Reno and North Mustang kills 1, injures 1

YUKON, OK – One person died, and another person went to the hospital Sunday in a two-vehicle wrong-way crash at a busy Yukon intersection, reports News 9.
The incident happened just after 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Reno Avenue and North Mustang Road, which is just south of I-40.
The investigation thus far indicates that an eastbound vehicle entered the westbound lanes of traffic on Reno Avenue. A westbound pickup truck struck the car, causing it to ignite.
The driver of the wrong-way vehicle died at the scene of the accident. Authorities have not yet released their identity to the public.
Medics transported a passenger from the wrong-way vehicle to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
