CLEVELAND COUNTY, OK — A 36-year-old man died late Saturday night after a two-vehicle collision on Southwest 4th Street in Moore, according to KFOR.
The fatal accident occurred on a span of the road (Oklahoma Highway 37) at South Santa Fe Street, at about 10:00 p.m.
An early investigation by Moore Police shows one vehicle was heading southbound on Santa Fe Street when, for reasons still unknown, it veered past the center line and entered the opposing lane, where it hit a northbound vehicle.
The impact of the crash left one car mangled and sent one car into a nearby front yard.
Officials said the driver of the white car died from his injuries at the scene.
Two occupants in the other car, a man and a woman, suffered minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital. A one-year-old baby, who was found properly secured in the same car, did not appear to be injured.
It remains unclear at this time whether drugs or alcohol factored into the wreck, but an investigation remains ongoing.
