1 injured in crash involving semi and car at NE 10th and Sunnylane

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Medics took one person to the hospital Thursday morning after a car and an 18-wheeler collided at a busy intersection in OKC.
According to KFOR News 4, the incident happened around 3 a.m. near the intersection of Northeast 10th Street and North Sunnylane Road, which is just southeast of Lost Lakes Haunted Forest and north of the John Smith Sports Complex.
The cause of the accident is still unknown. Police say the 18-wheeler was hauling fuel and that the accident caused the truck to leak fuel into the roadway.
A passenger in the car sustained unspecified injuries in the crash.
A full investigation is underway.
