2-vehicle crash at OK-33 and OK-66 near Sapulpa kills 1

SAPULPA, OK – A 68-year-old man sustained fatal injuries last Thursday after a two-vehicle crash along the highway in east-central Creek County, reports Fox 23 News.

The incident happened at the intersection of OK-33 and OK-66, which is north of both the Creek County Fairgrounds and the Creek County Speedway.

Police say the victim, identified as Rex Jacobs, was travelling westbound when he failed to heed a stop sign at the intersection and collided with another vehicle.

Medics transported Jacobs to an area hospital, where he died the next day from his injuries.

No other injuries were reported in connection to the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
