3-vehicle crash involving semi at I-235 and I-35 in OKC injures 2

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Two men went to the hospital Friday morning after a collision on I-235 involving a stalled car, a semi-truck, and a third vehicle.
According to KOCO News 5, the incident happened just after 6:15 a.m. at the junction for I-235, I-40, and I-35, which is just northeast of Riversport Adventures.
The investigation indicates that a vehicle stalled on the interstate near the southbound exit from I-235 to I-35. The driver exited the car and walked to the shoulder. A second vehicle collided with the stalled vehicle and was then struck by an 18-wheeler.
The driver of the stalled vehicle was struck and critically injured when the second driver collided with his car. Medics transported him and the second driver to the hospital with injuries.
It is unclear if the driver of the semi-truck sustained injuries in the accident.
