37-year-old killed in Tulsa auto-ped crash last week identified

TULSA, OK – Police have released the name of the man killed in an auto-pedestrian crash last Thursday morning in the Highland Park area, reports Fox 23 News.
Authorities say that 37-year-old Steven Klepac was attempting to cross the Broken Arrow Expressway between South Sheridan Road and South Yale Avenue when a westbound vehicle struck him. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m.
Officials declared Klepac deceased at the scene of the accident.
At this time, Tulsa police are continuing to refrain from sharing details about the driver involved in the collision. Authorities are not referring to the incident as a hit-and-run, and they’ve not specified if the driver will face charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
