Vehicle strikes, kills man at SW 74th and S Western Ave

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A male pedestrian died Sunday night after a vehicle struck him in the Taylor Park area of southwest Oklahoma City, reports KFOR News.
The incident happened around 10 p.m. near the intersection of Southwest 74th and South Western Ave, which is just northwest of Lightning Creek Park.
Police have not shared many details regarding the crash. They say that the pedestrian died at the scene of the accident and that the driver of the vehicle returned to the crash site after initially fleeing.
Officials have not yet released the name of the victim. The investigation is ongoing.
