Two-vehicle crash on US-75 SB near Leavenworth Trl kills 1

COLBERT, OK – A 61-year-old man went to the hospital with serious injuries Tuesday after a major crash along the highway in Colbert, reports kxii 12.

Crews responded to the accident around 6:30 a.m. on the southbound side of US-75 just north of Leavenworth Trail, which is on the north side of the city.

The investigation indicates that the collision involved two vehicles. One of the drivers, identified as Russell Fugate, sustained substantial injuries. The other driver was not hurt in the collision.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
