Injuries reported in crash involving police officer at S Yukon Pkwy and E Main

YUKON, OK – Injuries have been reported in an afternoon crash that happened at a busy Yukon intersection on Tuesday, reports News on 6.
The accident happened sometime before 4:50 p.m. at the intersection of South Yukon Parkway and East Main Street, which is just north of Mabel C. Fry Public Library on the east side of town.
There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the collision or the number of vehicles involved. Officials say that a police officer was involved in the wreck.
At least one person sustained injuries in the accident. It’s not yet clear if he police officer was hurt.
Motorists likely experienced delays near South Yukon Parkway and East Main Street Tuesday afternoon while crews worked to clear the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
