2-vehicle accident at I-44 and NW 10th in OKC kills 1, injures 1

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A two-vehicle crash along the interstate near Oklahoma State University killed one person and injured another on Sunday, reports KOCO News 5.

Emergency teams responded to I-44 near Northwest 10th Street just before 2 a.m. This is north of the university and the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds.

Oklahoma City Police are currently investigating the cause of the accident and the manner in which the two vehicles collided.

An unrestrained driver died from injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities identified her as Marla Marie Daniels.

Medics transported the other driver, identified as 33-year-old Crutcher Lawayne King, to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
